Welcome to the Department of Information Technology, Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
During this first century of the new millennium, the demands for technology have never been greater. The pace at which technology is changing has never been faster. This Department was set up in year 2000 to make the Delhi State a leader in the use of technology to improve Government operations and services. Our goal is to achieve a superior technology environment in Delhi. It has been the Government's resolve to harness the great knowledge revolution and the potential of IT for the benefit of the Citizens and use IT as a tool to make the life of the people in the Capital city more comfortable.
We believe technology will help user in a new era of Delhi Government, with the internet as a primary means of citizen interaction with Delhi Government and cutting edge technology applied to improve government administration and operations and improving government-citizen interface.
